Hello, Old Friend.

Old Friends Music Festival is 3 days of music, workshops and primitive camping held at Old Friend Farms, a family run homestead in Northwest Arkansas. Just a short drive South of Prairie Grove, the festival grounds are located in the confluence of two creeks, just at the mouth of Garrett Hollow. This beautiful property includes some 80 acres of natural wilderness, as well as 40 acres of open pasture and camping. Old Friend Farms offers the opportunity to explore Arkansas’ natural beauty while enjoying intimate performances from some of the nations best songwriters and musicians. This Festival focuses on creating a magical atmosphere and safe space for anyone hoping to plug back into our natural world through music, art, and wild places. Old Friends is an intimate festival and offers a very limited number of tickets, don’t miss your opportunity to claim your spot now! This is an all ages event. Free entry for kids ages 12 and under. Festival Info/FAQs

  • The idea behind leave no trace, in simple terms, is to leave a place in a condition the same as how it was when you discovered it. This means packing out what you bring in, doing a thorough job cleaning up trash, and respecting the natural state of the plants and animals. The festival will provide trash bags to help assist with leave no trace policy. Come prepared to pack out what you bring in!

    Clearly marked recycling bins will be placed around the campgrounds and main stage area. Please use these to relieve some of the burden of packing trash out.

  • WiFi and Cellphone service are very limited and cannot be guaranteed. Come with a plan to unplug! There will be Wifi available for emergencies at the Old Friend Farms Headquarters as well as instructions on how to drive a short distance to cell service.

  • Bathrooms are standard single stall porta-johns and one ADA port-john.

  • Parking in the meadow is included with every ticket price. We will have a limited number of parking spots close to main stage for people with disabilities.

    VIP tickets allow for one vehicle at campsite. If you are cameing in your vehicle you will need to purchase one VIP ticket to reserve your spot.

    General Admission campsites are first come, first serve and are not guaranteed to be close to parking.

  • We will accept cash at the gate for entry to the festival, there are a very limited number of tickets available though, so you might want to get them in advance to ensure your spot!

  • We party in the rain!! Old Friends Music Festival is a rain or shine event. Should the weather look like we will have rain, please bring rain gear and plan accordingly. If weather looks like it will be getting dangerous, we may be forced to postpone events, or alter the schedule to keep everyone safe.

  • The festival is CASH ONLY.

  • All sales are final. Sorry, Old Friend Farms is not able to issue refunds of any kind for any reason. We are happy to honor your ticket and let you transfer to another holder. Just email us and we can get it worked out. Thanks for understanding!

  • Even though we are surrounded by water, we do not have an endless supply of filtered/drinkable water. We will provide water coolers at the main stage to refill your water bottles, but please bring your own water for drinking and cooking while you’re here.

  • There will be food available for purchase on site, or festival guests are welcome to cook in their campsites on a gas or liquid fueled camp stove.

  • The festival is CASH ONLY.

    We are off grid and can only accept cash for merchandise/food/etc

  • We have limited spaces available for smaller campers/trailers. We do not have hook ups for power/water/waste. Keep in mind that you’ll be driving 5.5 miles down a county dirt road and parking in a pasture. If you think your trailer can make it, bring it on!

    One camper/sleeper vehicle pass is required for any trailer, camper, or camping set up that requires a vehicle. Including but not limited to rooftop campers, trucked campers, pop ups, etc.

  • Fires are permitted only in previously built community fire pits, or you are welcome to bring a portable, above ground fire pit or chiminea to use at your campsite. Firewood is available for sale by the bundle at the festival.

  • There is no lifeguard on duty at the creek, swim strictly at your own risk. Old Friend Farms, Old Friend Productions LLC, and Old Friends Music Festival will not be held responsible for any damages or injuries sustained while on the premises. All festival attendees will have to sign a release of liability before being granted entrance or given a wristband.

  • Of Course! Old Friend Farms is 120 acres of mostly wilderness located in a tight holler with great natural boundaries. Please be smart and wear appropriate footwear. Old Friend Farms/Old Friends Music Festival is not liable for any accidents that may occur. Explore at your own risk.

  • At the moment, we do not have any public showers. We are, however open to anyone wanting to donate time, money, or resources to get this infrastructure in place.

  • This is an all ages, family friendly event. Kids 12 and under receive free admission, but still need to get a free kids ticket from our tickets page. Teens receive a heavily discounted ticket. All persons 18 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

  • Please come to one of our scheduled work days, buy a ticket to one of our events or concerts, or become a sponsor for Old Friends Music Festival. We need serious help with infrastructure and acessability and are open to any type of asistance you can offer. We need money, materials, labor, and expertise.   • No. Old Friend Farms can aot allow any pets on the campgrounds. Our dogs will not even be attending.
