We are so excited to team up with Pack Rat Outdoor Center to host this incredible immersive learning experience.
It’s been said that the more you know, the less you need. To this end, we invite you to join us around the fire our 4th Vinterläger.
Vinterläger, or “winter camp,” is a three-day, two-night immersive wilderness experience: it is a setting to learn new skills and sharpen old ones.
As a small group, we'll embed ourselves in the winter landscape of the Ozark Mountains at a private, primitive campsite. We’ll deep dive into the fundamentals of winter wilderness self-sufficiency, using both primitive and modern techniques. Hone your knife & axe skills, build a shelter, start friction fires, learn knot and hitches, and prepare meals over open flames.
Vinterläger is more than a skills workshop; it’s a chance to share stories, exchange ideas, and collaborate with the land in a spirit of reciprocity and respect.
